Copenhagen Offshore Partners

Launching the Global Floating Offshore Wind Competence Centre

Copenhagen Offshore Partners (COP) wanted to officially launch its Global Floating Offshore Wind Competence Centre in Edinburgh. The aim was to raise awareness of COP's UK activities amongst industry and government stakeholders, positioning the company as a key player in accelerating the global large-scale deployment of floating offshore wind (FLOW), creating a significant export opportunity for the UK.

We developed a high impact event, prioritising industry discussion around FLOW – its challenges and opportunities. This saw Aspect lead the event concept and management process, involving the development of eye-catching collateral and securing VIP attendance. The agenda included a key note speech from BBC Radio 4 presenter and Financial Times Columnist, Tim Harford, a panel session discussing the role of innovation in FLOW and a congratulatory video message from UK Minister of State for Energy Security and Net Zero, Rt Hon. Graham Stuart MP. We also created and premiered two films showcasing the people and unique culture of COP, and highlighting their pioneering position within FLOW.
